Volunteering in Palestine is a unique and inspiring experience for many who want to help the Palestinians in any way they can. Volunteering in Palestine will give you the opportunity to learn about Palestinian culture, stay with a Palestinian family, learn Arabic, teach conversational English, as well as travel across Palestine and visit important historical cities and monuments. You can always volunteer in Palestine at any time during the year, from a period of one week to three months.

The Palestinian Center in Hebron “Go Palestine” offers volunteers the chance to fully immerse themselves in Palestinian culture and learn about daily life and reality in Palestine. Volunteering in Palestine is very simple: all you need is the desire to learn more about Palestine and interact with local Palestinians.

Volunteers have joined the Palestinian Center “Go Palestine” from over 40 countries around the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Colombia, France, Japan, China, Chile, Switzerland, Russia, Canada, Germany, and many others.
All people between the ages of 18 and 75 are welcome to apply to any of our volunteer programs at Go Palestine. No academic or professional degrees are required to participate in any of our programs.

These volunteer programs address topics such as children, children with special needs, education, entertainment activities, social events, music, community activities, workshops, and much more. Here you can do voluntary work from one week up to three months.
Volunteer with Children in the West Bank (1-12 Weeks)
The volunteer with children in The West Bank Program (1-12 Weeks) can be a life-changing experience. You will have the opportunity to help Palestinian children improve their English, while staying with a host family, and learn Arabic weekly. You will also gain valuable insight into the culture of Palestine and its people.
By volunteering with children in the West Bank, you can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Whether you choose to stay for one week or three months, your contribution will be invaluable and appreciated by all involved. Not only will you provide much needed assistance to Palestinian children, but you will also gain unique cultural experiences that are sure to stay with you for a lifetime.
Volunteer with Refugees in Palestine (1-12 Weeks)
The Volunteer with refugees in Palestine program (1-12 Week) is an incredibly rewarding experience. By engaging with Palestinian refugees, you can gain a deeper understanding of the challenges they face and help them build a better future for themselves.
You can choose to volunteer from one week to three months, depending on your availability and commitment level. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to learn Arabic, interact with local Palestinians and get to know their culture and customs. You may also have the chance to stay with a host family while volunteering, allowing you to gain an even deeper insight into their lives.
The West Bank Volunteer Program (1 Week – 3 Months)
The West Bank Volunteer Program (1 Week – 3 Months) is an amazing opportunity for people to experience the Palestinian culture and help the local community. It allows volunteers to spend one week to three months in the West Bank, helping Palestinians improve their conversational English skills and learning about the Palestinian culture.
The West Bank Volunteer Program also gives you the chance to study Arabic and visit refugee camps, thus gaining a deeper understanding of the struggles faced by Palestinians. This program provides a unique experience that not many people get to have and is a great way for volunteers to immerse themselves in a new culture while making a difference in Palestinians life.
Volunteer with School Students in Palestine (1-12 Weeks)
Volunteer with school students in Palestine Program (1-12 Weeks) is an amazing opportunity to help the local children improve their English skills and learn about the Palestinian culture. It is also a great way to study Arabic, as well as visit refugee camps and help those in need.

Volunteer in a Palestinian Hospital Program
The Volunteer in a Palestinian Hospital Program (1-12 Weeks) presents a distinctive and meaningful opportunity for individuals worldwide to contribute to the healthcare system in the Palestinian territories. Tailored to span from one to twelve weeks, this program immerses participants in a hands-on experience within a Palestinian hospital environment.
Volunteers and interns encounter a diverse array of medical cases, providing them with invaluable insights into the challenges and opportunities within Palestinian healthcare. Whether you are a medical student aiming to enhance your clinical skills or a compassionate individual eager to make a meaningful impact, this program serves as a platform for learning, growth, and positively influencing the lives of patients in need.
What is the Application Process?
- First, send us an email asking for the application form.
- We send you the application, and you fill out the application and send it back to us.
- Our team reviews your application. We may invite you for an interview by means of a Skype/WhatsApp call.
- If you are selected after the interview, we will send you a confirmation form which you fill out and return to us.
- We prepare and send you the Invitation Letter and the Contract. We will also send you the invoice for payment, which will include all the information regarding payment options.
- You will sign the contract and make payment in order to reserve your place in the program.
- We will send you an Orientation Booklet and travel instructions. These two items will provide you with all the information on how to get to Hebron and contact the Center. One of our coordinators will provide his/her contact number within an email sent to you.

When can I apply ?
- Applicants have the flexibility to decide when to join a program.
- We are very flexible when it comes to starting and ending dates.
- Applicants also choose their length of participation, which is a minimum of one week up to three months/12 weeks.
Do I need to know how to speak Arabic?
- Volunteers are not obligated to know Arabic.
- The center will provide you with 3 hours of Arabic lessons each week with one of our teachers.
- The participant can choose either to study Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) or Spoken Arabic Language (known as Ammyia) once they start their program.
Do I need a visa to enter Palestine?
- The Israeli government requires a visa for you to enter Israel. Visas are routinely granted upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport (Tel Aviv) if you are a citizen of an exempted country.
- They are available also at the Allenby-King Hussein Bridge Israel-Jordan border crossing. Tourist visas are valid for 90 days. Most Americans and Europeans are issued three-month visas upon arrival and clearing customs.
