Intensive and Super Intensive Arabic Courses in Palestine

With intensive Arabic language courses in Palestine, students can learn Arabic rapidly through a full immersion in both Arabic language and Palestinian culture. Intensive courses in Modern Standard Arabic and Levantine/Ammiya Arabic are offered by the Palestinian center in Hebron, Palestine, throughout the year.

Through a variety of study options, a rich cultural immersion program, and daily practice with Arabic, students are able to quickly enhance their Arabic language skills. The duration of the course period can range from one week up to three months, depending on the student’s schedule. With excellent instructors, a wide range of cultural and language immersion activities, and a focus on total immersion in the Arabic language, the Palestinian center’s intensive Arabic courses are second to none.

The fastest way to learn Arabic

The best option for those who want to learn Arabic as quickly as possible is to enroll in intensive classes. 4-6 hours of Arabic classes are included in intensive Arabic language programs each day, giving students more consistent exposure to the language and enabling them to learn more in a short time.

In just a few weeks, students at the Palestinian Center will accomplish great improvement in the Arabic language. With more frequent use of the language each day, students are able to internalize the information, which improves their linguistic skills and speeds up fluency.

Individual Courses (One on One Classes)

An essential element of intensive language courses is the ability to participate in lively class conversations. Thus, the Palestinian center intensive courses employ a communicative approach that depends one on one classes. This helps leave sufficient time for student discussions and participation, as well as more individualized attention from the Arabic teachers. Additionally, the communicative approach used in the Palestinian Center’s intensive courses fosters a supportive learning environment that encourages students to practice their language skills and build confidence in their abilities.

This approach emphasizes the practical application of the language in real-life situations, enabling students to communicate effectively with native speakers and further immerse themselves in the Arabic language and culture. Through one-on-one classes and dynamic conversations, students can enhance their language skills, expand their vocabulary, and gain a deeper understanding of the language and culture.

Learn Arabic at Your Own Pace with Our Individual Courses

Flexibility is a key advantage of Individual Arabic Intensive Courses, allowing students to fit language learning around their busy schedules. Unlike traditional classroom-based courses, individual courses offer more flexibility in terms of scheduling, course content, and pace of learning.

Individual courses can be scheduled at a time that suits the student, meaning they can be arranged to fit around personal or work commitments. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for busy professionals who have limited free time, or for students who may have other commitments, such as studying or caring for family members.

In addition to scheduling flexibility, individual courses also allow students to focus on specific areas of the language that they want to improve. For example, if a student needs to improve their conversational skills for a specific work or social situation, the course content can be tailored to meet this need. This personalized approach enables students to achieve their language learning goals more quickly and effectively.

Furthermore, the pace of learning in individual courses can be adjusted to match the student’s level of proficiency and learning style. This ensures that the student is not left behind or bored with the content, and that they are challenged enough to continue making progress in their language learning journey.

A Complete Arabic Immersion

Through complete language immersion, the intensive Arabic courses offered by the Palestinian center aim to improve a student’s relationship with the Arabic language. Because of this, our intensive Arabic courses are offered entirely in Arabic, with occasional English instruction, and students are encouraged to take part in center-sponsored cultural events. Along with their Arabic immersion classes, students can develop their language skills while also connecting with the Hebron community through these extracurricular Arabic immersion events.

There are five different levels of our intensive and super-intensive Shami Arabic courses, ranging from beginner to highly advanced. Palestinian Arabic or “Shami/ Levantine” is the dialect of Arabic widely spoken by nearly 42 million people in four Arab countries: Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. For those who want to live, work, or study in any Arab country and need to communicate with a wide variety of Arabic speakers from different regions and backgrounds, learning Shami Arabic is very important.

We have very qualified Arabic language teachers

The instructors’ team at the Palestinian center includes language tutors, cultural coordinators, and language partners. Together, they support the students’ learning in and outside the classroom and help them overcome learning difficulties, and actively engage with the local community.

Our teachers are highly-trained with advanced academic degrees in linguistics, education, or related fields. The center currently has over 10 full-time Arabic teachers – all of whom are passionate about teaching Arabic as a foreign language.

Courses availability & who can apply?

Students don’t have to worry about course availability because intensive courses are offered all year long at all levels. After enrolling in a class, you can continue learning for up to six months while advancing smoothly from one level to the next without any breaks or pauses.

Participants between the ages of 18-75 are eligible to participate in the intensive or super-intensive Arabic program. No academic degree is required in order to apply. How Do I Get A Visa To Enter Palestine?

Visas are routinely granted upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport (Tel Aviv) if you are a citizen of an exempted country, or at the Allenby-King Hussein Bridge border crossing; Hamas controls the border in Gaza with Egypt. Tourist visas are valid for 90 days; most Americans and Europeans are issued three-month visas upon arrival and clearing customs.

If your home country does not have an exemption agreement with Israel, you will have to procure a visa from the Israeli embassy/consulate at home before you visit. Because many Arab countries do not accept Israeli stamps upon passports, Israel now issues their visa on a separate small card with a bar code indicating the visa time validity. Please keep this visa card WITH your passport at all times. You may check to see whether your native country participates in a visa exemption agreement.

Some of Our Arabic Students’ Reviews

The Palestine Center - Go Palestine was the most responsive. Scheduling the lessons with my teacher has been easy and pleasant. My teacher has accommodated me in allowing me to continue with my college textbook in Modern Standard Arabic. She is also giving me writing, reading and speaking work. I love having the direct connection with Arabic culture through Arabic language. I value that my teacher is finishing her own higher level Arabic literature studies, has studied other languages and is an experienced Arabic language teacher. I look forward to my lessons and and am glad to have found the Palestinian Center.

My experience at the Palestinian centre has been very positive. I have taken the Intensive Arabic Course and I have seen great improvements in my language skills. I have spent only 2 weeks in Palestine this summer, but I would like to return later on for a longer period. The centre organizes interesting activities every day, so the programmes are also a great chance to learn more about the people of Hebron, Palestinian-Israeli relations and life under occupation. As someone that works in education, I am convinced that Go Palestine offers a great formative experience for those interested in the Arabic language and in the culture, politics and history of Palestine.

My tutor Dua'a has been fantastic! Bearing in mind I am learning as a complete beginner (as well as learning online which presents its own set of challenges) my tuition has been fun, engaging, challenging, and rewarding in equal measure. My tutor has been exceptionally accommodating and supportive of my Arabic language journey. Arranging lessons was always easy and straightforward, and the content was always at just the right level to challenge me, but remain fun. I look forward to having more lessons in the future.

I highly recommend the Go Palestine Arabic Language Online Program. It is well organized and interactions are pleasant. My teacher is a wonderful teacher, she speaks English very well and she also brings great enthusiasm to her work. She has a good understanding of where the gaps are in my knowledge of the Arabic language. This enables her to select and prepare the material for each lesson carefully. The first lesson is free, but I immediately signed up for the next one. I really appreciate the format through Zoom, very flexible and compatible with my own work.

I stayed in Hebron for one month with a Palestinian host family and completed the intensive Arabic course at Go Palestine. I cannot even begin to describe my time here in Palestine, and how happy I am that I chose this experience. I’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the occupation and Palestinian daily life through visits to several organizations, museums, and refugee camps, along with massively improving my Arabic skills.

My experience has been very good. I meet with my teacher for an hour every week. My teacher is very talented and shares my enthusiasm for the language. My teacher, Ustaz Muhamed, seems to know how to give my vocabulary that extra push without overwhelming me. I am very glad that I came across this program.
