The Palestinian Center offers online courses in both modern standard Arabic or Shami (Levantine Arabic), taught by our qualified/experienced teachers.
Our teaching staff has considerable knowledge, good teaching methods, and techniques, and they use the most beneficial learning materials. These courses are available to all levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced levels).
Who are the children who learn Arabic?
A large percentage of those interested in teaching their children Arabic are Arab families who live in non-Arab countries such as Europe, America, etc. Arab families in foreign countries recognise the importance of their children speaking their mother tongue and linking them back to their culture and identity, but the Palestinian Center wishes to open up Arabic to non-Arab families worldwide.
What kind of challenges, parents face teaching their children Arabic on their own?
One of the challenges that parents face is that they teach their children the colloquial dialect spoken at home and not the formal, grammatically correct Arabic that we have to offer. It becomes increasingly difficult for children to practice the language outside of the home, as they reside in western countries.
The Palestinian Center has therefore developed Arabic language courses for children online, which enables children from outside Palestine to learn the Arabic language. Through the use of experienced teaches and captivating educational tools.

What are the methods used in teaching children Arabic language online?
Interactive Learning
During online courses, teachers interact with the kids through questions and answers. It also includes fun and educational games to free their imagination by displaying pictures, drawings and shapes that represent the Arabic alphabet. They will also learn sentences, words, and names of things in Arabic, that they are familiar with in their environment.

Two of the most important skills for children learning any language are listening and verbal skills. Making children listen to Arabic audio/records develops what is called phonemic awareness. This enhances their ability to hear the correct pronunciation of letters which will help them improve their listening and verbal skills.
Development of Reading Skills
Reading is the first way for children to become familiar with the shape of Arabic letters and the way they connect with each other to form words and sentences. It is also an important method for developing a simple initial perceptual impression in children’s’ minds about the methods of formulating speech according to the rules of the Arabic language. What are the advantages of the Online Arabic for Kids courses?
