It enables you to teach conversational English ONLINE to Palestinian students individually and at the same time learn Arabic through one of our qualified teachers.

The Teach English to Palestinians ONLINE program is designed for those who want to teach English to Palestinians and also interact with Palestinian community members using one of the video chat apps, including Skype, WhatsApp, Google Meeting, ZOOM, and other available applications that provide such a service.

The advantages of teaching English to Palestinians ONLINE?

You can help Palestinians from anywhere in the world as long as you have a good WiFi connection.
It gives you flexibility and command of your schedule (once, twice, or more a week/approx. 2 hours a class).
It doesn’t have the real pains of working in a physical classroom.

Can I teach English online without a degree?

Yes, you can teach English online without a degree! The reason is that our English ONLINE courses focus on English conversational skills and how students deal with different situations and questions which doesn’t necessarily require an academic degree.

What does the Program include?

Teach English & Learn Arabic ONLINE simply includes teaching conversational English to Palestinian children ages 6-12-year-old, adults, and community members individually.

You will be focusing on the conversational part of the language which includes how to deal in certain situations, how to answer questions, and how to know the very important words that someone needs in certain subjects.

How long can I teach English ONLINE?

Our volunteers can choose to participate in the program for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. Whatever length of time you choose, we will support you so that you have a great and unique teaching experience.

You can teach English to our students once, twice or more a week as you like for the duration of the class only (approximately two hours).

Teach English to Palestinians ONLINE fees

100$ (American Dollar)

This includes, coordination of English language courses with participating students, 4 hours of Arabic classes, certificate of participation.

150$ (American Dollar)

This includes, coordination of English language courses with participating students, 7 hours of Arabic classes, certificate of participation.

200$ (American Dollar)

This includes, coordination of English language courses with participating students, 10 hours of Arabic classes, certificate of participation.

What does the participation fee include?

Part of the fees will go to support the center’s free activities.

Who is eligible to join the Teach English in Palestine Program?

The Palestinian Center has hosted people who have come from a myriad of countries, such as the USA, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Colombia, France, Japan, China, Chile, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, and many more.

Since this program focuses on the conversational part of the language then this program fits those who have or have no experience in teaching English, what you need is to speak English very well and have management skills.

The center welcomes all people who are 18 to 70 years old to apply to the Teach English & Learn Arabic ONLINE. Academic or professional degrees are not required to join the program.

When can I teach English ONLINE to Palestinians?

We work year-round. Volunteers and interns decide when they are available to participate. We are very flexible when it comes to starting and ending dates.

Do I have to speak Arabic during the ONLINE classes?

No, volunteers are not obligated to know or speak Arabic.

The students you will be teaching are those who are at an intermediate or advanced level.

We’ll provide you with three hours of Arabic lessons (MSA or Ammiya) each week with one of our teachers.
