The West Bank is a landlocked territory in the Middle East, located west of the Jordan River. It is a part of the historical region of Palestine and is currently recognized internationally as a disputed area under Israeli occupation, though it is home to a predominantly Palestinian population. The region holds cultural, religious, and historical significance and has been central to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
